IZMIR CITY TOUR – 4 Hours
After disembarkation in the morning, you wil be met at the port by your private guide and driver.

One of the most beautiful descriptions of this city was made by Herodotus: “They have founded the city under the most beautiful sky and the best climate that we know on Earth."

First stop will be Roman Agora, which was used as a square shaped market place during the Roman rule of the city. Proceed to the Archeology Museum which contains a splendid collection of artifacts of the Aegean. Most of the artifacts, which include busts, statues, statuettes, tools, and various eating and cooking utensils, come from the Bronze Age, or from the Greek and Roman periods.
Enjoy the panaromic view from Kadifekale. The castle at 186 meters above sea level is one of the highest points of the city which offers a bird-eye view of Izmir.

Before driving back to the port to embark Cruise ship, we will have free time in the market.

EPHESUS – 6 Hours
After disembarkation in the morning, you wil be met at the port by your private guide and driver.

Drive about an hour to the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in Asia Minor. A major center of PauL's missionary activity, it was also the home of the Temple and cult of the goddess Artemis. During Paul's day, the temple was regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Ephesus was one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League during the Classical Greek era. We will see the Odeon, the stream baths of Scholastika, the temple of Hadrian and impressive library of Ephesus. The library is adorned with columns and statues. The Grand Theater, where Saint Paul preached, is the largest theater in antiquity with a capacity of 24000 seats.

A very special visit to the Terrace Houses, opposite the Hadrian Temple and also called as "the houses of rich". It gives a magnificent picture of the daily life of the Romans and the wealth of Ephesus.

You will return to Izmir to embark your ship.

EPHESUS & VIRGIN MARY – 8 Hours
After disembarkation in the morning, you wil be met at the port by your private guide and driver.

Drive about an hour to the House of Virgin Mary, which is the place where Mary might have spent her last days. After the visit which takes approximately 45 minutes, drive down to the Upper Gate of Ephesus for our main tour. SARDIS – 4 Hours
After disembarkation in the morning, you wil be met at the port by your private guide and driver.

Drive to the antique site of Sardis. Sardis in antiquity was one of the great cities of Asia Minor. In the seventh century B.C., Sardis was the capital of the kingdom of Lydia and was a famous trade center. Owing to the Paktolos, who passed nearby the city and who had rich gold mines, the wealth of the city became very famous.
This city, which minted the first coins in history in the VIIth century B.C., was the last stop on the famous King Road, which started in Susa. Moreover, the city earned a considerable amount of income from the famous Artemis temple, where people from all over the ancient world visited.

We will explore the ruins of the Temple of Cybele, Temple of Diana, Royal Road and reconstructed Synagogue and the roman gymnasium.

Drive back to Izmir to embark your ship.

PERGAMUM – 8 Hours
After disembarkation in the morning, you wil be met at the port by your private guide and driver.

A step back in ancient times today with a visit to the hilltop ruins of Pergamum which once boasted the greatest library of the ancient world which once held 200,000 scrolls. The Asclepion and Acropolis of Pergamum are world famous. Pergamum is where parchment was first invented. It boasted the contents of a fabulous library, given by Anthony to Cleopatra and later lost in a fire at Alexandria.

The Temple of Zeus was another ancient marvel although much of it is now in a specially constructed museum in Berlin. The Asclepion was the centre of healing and one of its great doctors was Gelen(120-190AD). We will also explore one of the famous colourful weekly food markets of Bergama, the modern name of Pergamum.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

At the end of the day, you will return to Izmir to embark your ship.
