The Lycians were an ancient people, mentioned in Homer’s Iliad, who fought on the side of the Trojans in defense of Troy. They inhabited the mountainous south-west coast of present Turkey, between the bays of Antalya and Fethiye. This coast is one of the most historically rich sailing routes along the Eastern Mediterranean coast of Turkey and has became famous for sailing and visiting some of the breath-taking Lycian ruins that have been isolated for thousands of years. We have combined this photographer’s dream destination with the romance of some of the small Greek islands including Symi and Rhodes, for a full taste of Greek and Turkish cultures while enjoying the intimacy being on a luxury traditional gulet boat.
